Camera Strangers is an ongoing social experiment. In different cities that I travel to, I place a disposable camera on a bench with a sign attached to it that encourages people to creatively take a picture of anything they want. I leave the area and return later to pick up the film. The film fills up as different strangers walk by, read our sign, and try it out. I take the film to get developed and then voilà, there are now unique, wonderful, anonymously created images.

The only time the camera has disappeared was in Austin, Texas. I left the camera on a bench in a park one Friday night. When I returned the next morning, not only was the camera missing, but the park bench too -- ripped right out of its cement moorings. All that remained was yellow caution tape placed across the open cement holes.
